      Hi,
I have to admit I’d sometimes like to be doing something more positive for society – which I can of course while still doing engineering. The inventions we come up with can form an important part of everyday life, but I hope that helping others along the way benefits society more.

I hope to help society in 2 ways. Firstly by training the next generation of engineers (the part of my job I think is most important), and secondly through some of the research I do. For example, I’m currently working on a brain computer interface with potential applications in stroke rehab!

Yeah I do, in fact my company hold many charitable events that I take part in. In a way I think this helps contributing in society.
