Question: How does your job help you to understand life in general?

I’d like to say it does, but I guess no more than many jobs. There are still loads of times I look at the news and am amazed at “how did that happen – why did they do that?”.
Because we work in teams, and spend a lot of time talking to customers we do hopefully develop some people skills, but I can’t claim engineers are famous for their deep philosophy.
