Only three?! I’m assuming I can’t pick a computer so I’d have to say a good scientific calculator would be essential. I think an oscilloscope (a device that lets you see the changes in voltage over time in a circuit) would also be useful as they make testing and fixing circuits so much easier. Lastly I’m quite fussy about pens so I reckon a nice mechanical pencil (with an eraser as I’m of course going to make mistakes) would be my final tool!

      Hi,
I will assume I can have a computer, so I’d need a good compiler -a tool for turning the computer code I write into a finished program and debugging it. Other than that, pens and a good stack of scrap paper would probably do it. I scribble a lot.
If I’m working on video, a camera would be kind of useful.

The three things I don’t think I could do my job without are a computer, the Internet, and lots of coffee!

A calculator, a data book and endless cups of tea…
