• Question: what is the weirdest thing you have come accross

      Hi,
      Looks like you have us all stumped with this one. I’m really thinking hard, but there are so many things that make me go “wow” all the time, it’s tough to pick out one.

      When ice climbing in Scotland one winter, the ice formations at the top of Ben Nevis where the wind has been blasting the mountain in different directions were incredible. With the wind though we could not stand to look at them properly.

      I’ve thought long and hard, and the best answer I can think of is human nature!

      The way people act and react to situations is often a source of bafflement!

      In terms of engineering, the fact that we can use mathematical concepts such as the square root of minus 1 to model real world phenomena still amazes me!
