• Question: did you come up with the inventions before or after you became engneers

      Good question.

      I kind of think I have always been an engineer – as long as I can remember I’ve had that problem solving mindset and curiosity about how stuff works!

      Even as a kid I used to take stuff apart and put it together in “interesting” ways – whether lego, scalextric or action figures! 😉

      Hi,
      As Alex says, engineering is a way of thinking that I’ve always tended to have. However, I think until I’d been through university and gained experience a lot of the ideas I was having were the same as other people had invented before. As I’ve learnt more, I’ve seen more of the gaps where there is something new to discover.
