      Hi
To be honest – I’m not too worried about winning. I’m taking part in the because I really enjoy engineering, and I really enjoy seeing my own children having fun with science etc. They may not turn out of be engineers – that’s fine, but if I can share with you some of the passion I feel for what I do than perhaps you might get to enjoy it too.
The question on my profile “what would you do with the money” was the hardest for me – there are other people that could make better use of it perhaps, but the key thing would be for me to get that money to the people that can use it best.
When I was about 12, a teacher a a local school ran a computer club that I went to a few times. He started me off on what has turned out to be the best career I can imagine having, and if I can pay some of that forwards it’s worth while.

      +1 for Rik’s answer.

I’m taking part not because I particularly want to win (though the fame, money and rock and roll lifestyle would be nice – that all comes with winning, right?!) but because if I can encourage just one more person to become an engineer then I’ll be happy.
